2nd Annual Sentiers Chelsea Trails (SCT)<\/h3>\n

Photo Contest<\/h1>\n

NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MIDNIGHT, APRIL 1ST!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Celebrate the trails running through our backyards and neighbourhoods! Capture the beauty on Chelsea\u2019s trails with your camera and share them with your community.<\/p>\n

All submissions will be included in an online photo tapestry and the winning photos will be put on display in the Chelsea Library.<\/p>\n

Getting Started<\/span><\/h2>\n

We have selected four themes for photo entries in addition to special awards for youth (under 15).<\/p>\n

Send up to four (4) photos to chelseatrails@gmail.com<\/p>\n

Categories<\/span><\/h3>\n

Each entry must fall into one of the categories listed below (you may only submit one photo per category).\u00a0 Be creative and have fun!<\/p>\n

  • Up Close & Personal<\/strong> – how close can you get to your subject?<\/li>\n
  • My Special Place<\/strong> \u2013 share with us your very special mystical hideaway on our trail system<\/li>\n
  • Playing with Light<\/strong> \u2013 show us your creativity at that special time of the day when the light is magical<\/li>\n
  • Trail Vistas<\/strong> \u2013 any cool shot that showcases a trail in Chelsea<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Here\u2019s how to enter<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Each submission must include:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Name, age (if under 15), category, and e-mail address<\/li>\n
    • \u00a0A caption for each photo<\/li>\n
    • General information on where and when it was taken, how you approached the scene, and what you were thinking<\/li>\n
    • \u00a0Deadline for submission by email is midnight, Monday, April 1st, 2013<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Send your photos via email to chelseatrails@gmail.com and write \u201cphoto\u201d in the subject line<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Guidelines<\/span><\/h3>\n

      • One photo per category<\/li>\n
      • Photos must be taken on trails located in Chelsea (not Gatineau Park)<\/li>\n
      • Color and b\/w photos are accepted. You must own the legal rights to the photo submitted and maintain the rights to the photos.\u00a0 Chelsea Trails reserves the right to publish\/ post to our website.<\/li>\n
      • Photos must be 4MB (4,000 KB) or smaller and must be in JPEG or JPG format<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Have your photos exhibited at the Chelsea Library and on the SCT web site!<\/em><\/p>\n
