{"id":1237,"date":"2015-01-07T19:21:54","date_gmt":"2015-01-07T19:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sentierschelseatrails.wordpress.com\/?p=1237"},"modified":"2020-04-17T00:16:09","modified_gmt":"2020-04-17T00:16:09","slug":"7-historical-signs-along-the-railway-community-trail-january-7-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sentierschelseatrails.org\/fr\/7-historical-signs-along-the-railway-community-trail-january-7-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"7 Historical Signs along the Railway Community Trail, January 7, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>7 Historical Signs along the Railway Community Trail, January 7, 2015<\/p>\n<p>In the fall of 2014, Chelsea Trails partnered with the Gatineau Valley Historical Society (GVHS) in developing and installing seven temporary interpretive<strong> s<\/strong>igns along a section of the Chelsea Community Winter Trail from Gleneagle to Larrimac.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Each sign highlights a site of historical interest, such as the site of the former flag station in Kirk\u2019s Ferry, with a photo from the GVHS Image Bank and explanatory text. For the past eight winters SCT has partnered with the municipality of Chelsea to provide a multi-purpose tracked snow surface along the currently unused railway tracks.
